2010 NCCP HIGH PERFORMANCE II SEMINAR- Oshawa, ON


Please be advised that Hockey Canada and the Ontario Hockey Federation are hosting a High Performance II coaching seminar to be hosted on the Durham College/University of Ontario Institute of Technology campus in Oshawa, ON July 5-July 10, 2010.  The candidate must meet the following requirements and will be nominated to Hockey Canada from the Branch (ODHA):

  1.  Presently fully certified at NCCP Level 3 (which includes either HP1 or Adv1 and NCCP Level 3 Theory)
  2. Currently coaching in a high performance environment (AAA Midget and above-male, University, College or above-female)
  3. A member in good standing within either the Branch, CHL, CIS or CCAA.
  4. Plans to coach within a high performance environment over the next 2 to 3 seasons.

EOJCHL Player Awards & Playoff Match-ups
The EOJCHL season has come to an end. The division champs are: East - Embrun Panthers, and West – East Ottawa Thunder. Now we head into the playoffs for the league championships.


Awards
The season featured numerous individuals who excelled or contributed greatly to the game. Each year, the league’s directors recognize these outstanding achievements in selected categories. The winners are:

WJC LEGACY FUND

The 2009 IIHF World Junior Championship Legacy Fund (the Legacy Fund) was established from proceeds from the World Junior Championship that was held in Ottawa in the winter of 2008/2009. Monies allocated to the Legacy Fund are designated for use in the promotion of amateur hockey within the Ottawa District Hockey Association. This document establishes the basis for the operations of the Legacy Fund and the distribution of the monies of the Fund.more
