BFL CANADA Risk & Insurance Inc is once again very proud and honored to continue to provide each Branch within Hockey Canada with our annual educational ''Bursary / Scholarship Program'', which provides for a $1,000 scholarship to a deserving player for his/her continued education.
As per the attached letter, we have renamed our scholarship program in honor of our dearly departed colleague and good friend to all of you, Jim Stirling.
Our annual scholarship program will now be named The Jim Stirling Scholarship program donated by BFL CANADA.

B.F. Lorenzetti and Associates Inc., the insurance brokers of Hockey Canada will be providing a $1,000.00 bursary for a Branch member(s) enrolled in a post-secondary institution or graduating from high school in the spring of 2011. A B.F. Lorenzettirepresentative will present the award at the 2011/12 AGM on June 16th, 2012.
Eligibility Criteria
All persons registered in the Branch and in good standing, are eligible;
You must be graduating from high school in 2012 or be enrolled in a post-secondary institution;
If you are graduating from high school in 2012 you must be pursuing a career requiring further education or training (e.g. university, college, trade school etc.).
How to apply
Complete an application form and forward it with the required attachments to the ODHA office to the attention of Jeff Baker.
Application deadline
All applications must be received in the ODHA office no later than 17:00 hours, May 15, 2012. Late or incomplete applications (a missing attachment will be considered as an incomplete application) will not be considered.
The successful applicant will be notified by May 31, 2012 and will be required to attend the AGM presentation. The decision will be made by the ODHA and will not be subject to review.
The recipient’s name and photo will be posted on the ODHA website following the 2011-2012 AGM.
